As with every company, there is a story behind the story, and Driven by Safety is no Different. Rodney – a veteran and former first responder, has witnessed the realities of alcohol abuse firsthand.
On Super Bowl Sunday 10 years ago, Tessa Conradi, a friend, was killed by a repeat drunk driver. Her family misses her smile, her humor, and her heart. She was so full of life, and it was selfishly snatched from her. She was sober, just driving home; he was nearly blackout drunk. He lived; she did not. That day Tessa's loss impacted and changed so many lives.
Rodney has answered the call to countless alcohol-related accidents in his professional career. He also saw the apparent dangers of texting while driving and has worked to develop simple, phone-based applications to help shift driver behavior and combat this growing issue.
Rodney's commitment to making our roads safer has been unwavering and inspired the development of the various Driven By Safety Inc. solutions.
